Owner/President

Greg has a broad range of experience in providing comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services to both individual and business clients. Greg earned his Bachelor of Science Degree (Magna Cum Laude) in Accounting and a Master’s Degree (Cum Laude) in Business Administration from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.

Outside of Waterford, Greg has an active lifestyle and is an outdoor sports enthusiast who is passionate about fly fishing. Greg keeps fit by cycling, swimming, and running, and during 2012, he trained for and participated in his first sprint triathlon.

Christina M. Michalczak, CFP®, QPFCChristina Michalczak

Owner/Financial Planner

Christina joined the firm in May 2007. She works closely with clients on financial planning issues, prepares financial plans, and oversees the implementation of client recommendations. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Financial Planning from the State University of New York at Alfred. Christina enjoys walks with her dogs and participates in local animal rescue group events. She currently serves as the Chair of the Public Relations Committee for the Financial Planning Association of WNY.

Michael D. Harmer, CFP®Michael Harmer

Financial Planner

Mike has been with the Waterford team since 2012. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. He is intimately involved with the preparation and presentation of clients' financial plans, assisting with implementation of client recommendations, as well as daily client service needs related to all areas of comprehensive financial planning. Mike received his undergraduate degree with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Canisius College. In his spare time, he is a sports enthusiast that loves to support the local professional teams, enjoys traveling and playing golf.

Daniel Byles-Smith, CPA                                             

Tax Manager

Daniel has over 7 years of experience as a tax professional, primarily servicing closely held businesses and their owners as well as individual tax clients. Daniel provides tax planning and compliance services to Waterford clients. Prior to joining Waterford, he worked as a Tax Manager with Freed Maxick CPAs and was a Senior Accountant with Chiampou Travis Besaw & Kershner LLP. While working with those firms he gained experience in business acquisitions and mergers as well as multistate filings, estate planning, and business succession planning for family owned businesses.

Daniel earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting & Economics from Purdue University and has completed his Master’s in Taxation from Northeastern University. Dan enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.

Marybeth Rose

Junior Financial PlannerMarybeth Rose

Marybeth recently graduated from the State University of New York at Alfred with her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Financial Planning. She has also obtained her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Accounting. Marybeth works closely with the advisors in servicing client needs on a daily basis; she assists with client requests, data entry for projections, and meeting preparation and follow up. She also provides support to the tax department. Marybeth is a member of Alpha Sigma Sorority.

Ellen J. Bosco

Client Service Associate 

Ellen is our "director of first impressions", she greets all clients and guests as they arrive at or call into our office. She works closely with all of our staff in servicing client needs and the needs of our office including event planning and administration. Prior to joining Waterford, Ellen worked with Key Bank (First Niagara) as a Senior Teller.

Ellen earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from SUNY Fredonia. She enjoys spending time with her cat, Phoebe, and volunteering with local animal rescue organizations.

Jocelyn D. Hirschey

Tax Intern

Jocelyn will be joining our firm during the 2018 tax season to assist within our Tax Department. She will be helping with; the processing of tax returns as they come in, tax preparation and analysis and finalizing returns for client review. She will also be assisting with Quickbooks entry and bookkeeping for the firm and for our clients. Jocelyn is working towards her BS in Accounting through Daemen College and hopes to sit for the CPA exam after she graduates. She previously held an internship position with Delaware North and was a Tax Preparer for the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program. She enjoys volunteering with the Buffalo City Mission, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, and Friends of Night People in the City of Buffalo. 

 

 

 

Ryan M. DiPasquale

Financial Planning Intern

Ryan will be joining our firm during early 2018 to assist within our Financial Planning and Tax Departments. He will be helping with; meeting preparation and follow up; data entry and analysis for financial projections and retirement income plans, account maintenance assistance and tax preparation and planning. Ryan is working towards his BS in Accounting and Finance through Canisius College. He enjoys being an assistant hockey coach with the Buffalo Bison’s 18U AA and volunteering with Best Buddies and the Accounting Society at Canisius College. 

 

 

 

David T. Hore

David Hore

Director of Business Development

Dave earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in accounting, from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1987 (Magna Cum Laude). In 1994, he became the managing partner for one of the largest accounting firms in WNY, and in 2003, became the co-president of PCB Group, Inc. Very active in the WNY charitable community, Dave is the former president and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County.
