Dan Byles-Smith, CPA, CFP®

Principal

Dan joined the firm in 2016 and has over 13 years of professional experience. He provides comprehensive financial planning services with a focus on multi-year tax planning through retirement. Prior to joining Waterford, he worked as a tax manager at a large regional accounting firm where he specialized in business succession planning and Trust and Estate Planning. In his free time Dan enjoys spending time with his wife, Jill, three children, Thomas, Jonathan, & Emily, and four dogs, Samson, Scooner, Finn, and Sadie. He and his family run a small hobby farm on the outskirts of Hamburg Village where they currently raise alpacas, goats, and chickens.
